JOE WEIL, FOUNDER
A poet hailing from Binghamton, NY, Joe is the founder of Shrew as well as its sister forum, The Gauntlet. As editor-in-chief, Joe anthologizes most issues, and occasionally posts musings on his blog. Currently a professor of undergraduate and graduate creative writing at Binghamton University, Joe grew up in Elizabeth, NJ, and was described by The New York Times as personifying that town: “working-class, irreverent, modest, but open to the world and filled with a wealth of possibilities.”

Dana is a poet and artist. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in New England Review, The Literary Review, North American Review, Atlanta Review, and Raleigh Review. She lives and teaches writing at the edges of the New York boroughs.

Tommy is a writer who earned his MFA from Binghamton University. He is a writer for Need2Know, Daily Pnut, Near Mint, and The Lunch Read. He also does advertising at Media Mobilize and is the assistant to author Charles Soule. You can read Tommy’s comics here.
